The crew was very helpful and friendly. The vibe when you walk in is relaxed and comfortable. I was happy that I didn’t have to wait days for my car. Prices…..🤔🤔, were a little more than. I expected, but he did give me $150 credit for the complete work, so I paid $1750. Still need shocks/struts but was quoted over $1800. Total pricing, was over $3000. I will go back though but for less expensive work.

Mike More Miles in Elgin did a fantastic job on my daughter’s car. They took the time to listen to our concerns about the brakes, properly diagnosed the issue, and provided an effective solution. The difference in how the brakes feel is remarkable. We initially came to them for a second opinion after another mechanic failed to address the brake problem and instead focused on a different repair with a very high price tag. Mike More Miles not only identified the actual brake issue, but also found a suspension problem and provided a much more reasonable estimate. What impressed me most was that their quote included the suspension repair, brake repair, and a wheel alignment—services that were not all included in the first shop’s estimate. Even with the additional work included, their total came in several hundred dollars less than the other shop’s quote. It’s refreshing to find a shop that listens, diagnoses problems accurately, and provides honest, fair pricing. I highly recommend them. I’ve found my mechanic for life!

The staff took great care of me and my car. I didn’t get charged for work they as part of the inspection and diagnostic. I will be returning to have more work done. I did take off one star because I had to call back ask about a couple items needing attention in the report that wasn’t verbally discussed with me.

With our being in Texas and not familiar with the area I looked for the nearest place for her to take the car and that is how we came upon Mike More Miles. I was able to communicate with their courteous staff easily by telephone to find out what all was going on with her vehicle and trusted that they were honest with all I was hearing. They quoted a cost to fix everything up at a reasonable price considering all that was wrong with it. When we went to drive our granddaughter back home to Texas in her vehicle which was a 20+ hour drive I'm happy to say we had no problems whatsoever and the car drove like a new one!! So grateful that we ran across this company that she will now be able to trust for taking her car in for service any time she needs to over her next 2 years in college in that area and be able to do so knowing that they are trustworthy and do an excellent job! I’ve been going to MIKE More Miles for the last 10-12 years and they’ve always treated me well, with great service at a reasonable price! If you want a team you can trust, this is the place. Today LaDarius and his team helped me out by reinstalling a plastic grill into my front bumper. They made sure all the clips were doing their job and sent me on my way! I couldn’t be more pleased. It’s difficult to find auto mechanics you can count on these days…so I’m glad these guys are close by! Highly recommend!

Talking about Mike's Auto Shop in Elgin, IL. There is nothing in your car if you have problems that they can't repair. Our recent 2012 Prius had an oil leak, and they were able to fix it. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs maintenance, like an oil change or so and repairs to their car. The service is good and the price is reasonable. An intriguing aspect of their service is that they offer a full warranty on all repairs. If your car encounters an issue post-repair, simply return; it's uncommon, as they typically execute repairs correctly. The follow-up text you get the next day or so is a nice touch that ensures you're happy with the service. LaDarius, the manager of the facility, is wonderful, along with his assistants, Brian and Joey. Very friendly and honest. They've been working with our cars for years. Unless a part is on order, which is rare, all repairs are done the same day. Overall, I will award this shop 5 stars, not only for customer service! but also for the repair or maintenance they did to your car. Thank you guys! You guys rock.
